About Valencia
Valencia McMahon is a published Christian author, devotional writer, and Sabbath School facilitator whose work has ministered to readers across the country. She is the founder of NRhythm Press LLC, a Georgia-based independent Christian publishing house built on the conviction that words have the power to move people and faith has the power to hold them. She is also the creator of NRhythm Devo (nrhythmdevo.com), a devotional platform designed to set the rhythm of the reader's day before the world gets a chance t. It carries that same conviction as NRhythm Press.
Valencia writes Christian nonfiction and devotional content. Her previously published titles include Edge of Eternity (WestBow Press, 2022) and Grief Relief. She currently serves as a Sabbath School facilitator at her local church, and is a former Sabbath School Superintendent at her home church in Miami, Florida. It is in these roles her teaching materials have been and are being tested in real community before they ever reach a page.
Her writing is shaped by years of service and lived experiences. She does not write from theory. She writes from a life that has been shaped by prayer, tested by silence, and anchored by a God who answers before the prayer is finished.
A Note on My New Writing Process
My nonfiction work is built around one core conviction: that the Christian life is not meant to be survived, it is meant to be lived intentionally, and in step with God. My books address the questions that keep believers up at night — questions about death and eternity, about grief and healing, about prayer and whether God is truly listening.
Every story in my books is true. Every testimony is real. Every biblical account is grounded in Scripture. The theology has been shaped by years of ministry, personal study, and honest conversation with God in the quiet hours before the world wakes up.
In some of my titles, I intentionally use AI-assisted writing tools to help render those true stories in a more cinematic and immersive voice. It is designed to be the kind of writing that puts the reader inside the scene rather than simply describing it from a distance. I made that choice deliberately and I stand behind it. The goal has always been to help the reader encounter what actually happened, not just read about it.
The tool is the pen, but the story is always mine.
Everything I write reflects my theology, and my life. The experiences are real and they are mine. The emotions are real, and they are mine. The miracles are documented. The struggles are ones I actually lived through. What AI helps me do is tell those true things in a way that reaches people like you in the same way a filmmaker uses a camera to render a true story, or a musician uses a studio to shape a song that was written long before the recording began.
I believe in being transparent with my readers because I believe in the same honesty in my writing that I ask of God in my prayers. You deserve to know how this book was made. And knowing how it was made should not diminish what it carries. The words you will read in my books were already lived in my life before they found the page.
